Job Description

We are urgently looking for a Graphic Designer to create engaging and on-brand graphics for a variety of media. The Graphic Designer job description includes the entire process of defining requirements, visualizing and creating graphics including illustrations, logos, layouts, artworks, etc. You will be the one to shape the visual aspects of websites, books, magazines, product packaging, exhibitions and much more.

Your graphics should capture attention and communicate the right message. You need a creative flair and strong ability to translate requirements into design. The work demands creativity, up-to-date knowledge of industry software, and a professional approach to time, cost, and deadlines.

Graphic Designer Duties and Responsibilities

• Study design briefs and determine requirements
• Conceptualize visuals based on requirements
• Prepare rough drafts and present ideas
• Develop illustrations, logos and other design artworks
• Use appropriate colors and layouts for each graphic
• Work with copywriters and creative director to produce final design
• Test graphics across various media
• Amend designs after feedback
• Proficiency with Adobe Creative Suite
• Confident, creative, and able to work with various aesthetic styles
• Create commercial quality artwork
• Maintain a strong creative portfolio
• Experience in business stationery (business card, letterhead, envelopes, flyers, etc.)
• Work on packaging design, POS, marketing & advertising materials including catalogues and press ads

Graphic Designer Requirements and Qualifications

• Proven graphic designing experience
• Strong portfolio of illustrations or graphics
• Familiarity with Adobe Suite, After Effects, InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop, etc.
• Keen eye for aesthetics and detail
• Ability to work methodically and meet deadlines
• Degree in Design, Fine Arts or related field is a plus
• Strong design, analytics, and layout skills
• Creativity and flexibility
• Attention to detail and deadline-oriented
• Good time management and communication skills
• Ability to handle feedback and rejection professionally
