PHP Developer

Role Overview

We are looking for a skilled PHP Developer to join our development team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for building, maintaining, and improving dynamic web applications, ensuring high performance, scalability, and security.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop, test, and maintain web applications using PHP
• Write clean, well-structured, and reusable code
• Work with front-end developers to integrate user-facing elements
• Manage databases (MySQL or similar) and optimize queries
• Troubleshoot, debug, and upgrade existing systems
• Ensure application performance, security, and responsiveness
• Integrate third-party APIs and services
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams (design, SEO, marketing)

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Strong knowledge of core PHP and frameworks (Laravel, CodeIgniter)
• Experience with MySQL or other relational databases
• Understanding of front-end technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript)
• Familiarity with RESTful APIs and web services
• Experience with version control tools (Git) is preferable
• Knowledge of MVC architecture
• Understanding of website security principles
• Knowledge of domain and hosting management
• Ability to write efficient and optimized code

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with CMS platforms like WordPress
• Knowledge of e-commerce platforms (WooCommerce, Shopify)
• Familiarity with cloud hosting, cPanel, or server management
• Basic understanding of SEO best practices
• Experience working in Agile development environments

Experience Required

3–5+ years (Mid/Senior role)
